Best Easter stay!

Celebrated Easter with a friend in a suite at Söderfors Manor. Very nice, clean and fresh room with all the amenities you could wish for with coffee/tea/chocolate etc. The American Easter brunch, breakfast and a la carte tasted very good. Good vegetarian options in food and non-alcoholic beer were also great. In the Spa I saunad and it was also clean and fresh.

Beautiful mansion with good standard!

Nice hotel, nice area outside with history to take part of. Nice and clean hotel room. Good afternoon, the whole party (10 people) got food at the same time. Nice service from the waitresses. Good choice of breakfast. We are happy with our stay at Söderfors Herrgård and can absolutely imagine staying there again!

We celebrated my son's 30th birthday there and had a great stay. Incredibly good manor dinner.! We were served by a suoer lovely woman with a warm twinkle in her eye who delivered perfect Service.
The sauna boat is also recommended. Fresh and easy to jump into the river when you needed to cool off
You felt so welcome.
The son and partner got the honeymoon suite and stayed there all weekend. So beautiful.
Mom (me) and little sister stayed one night in an annex. Very fresh newly renovated room with beams and old charm. We're super happy. Last but not least - what beds! So beautiful! Wonderful bedding too - fluffy, luxurious blurs and comfortable pillows. We're coming back!

Sad brunch

We visited Söderfors for their so-called Easter brunch – and were quickly disappointed. The only thing that clearly connected to Easter was some sad Egg Benedict with a minimal strip of smoked salmon and small foil-wrapped chocolate eggs, made first for the coffee when we were just about to finish. The rest of the buffet was mostly different kinds of bread, including bagels with cream cheese – without smoked salmon, which is otherwise a natural accompaniment.
The beverage selection was limited to coffee, tea, lukewarm juice from concentrate and bubble water on tap. A simple “Do you want something else?” would have lifted the whole picture considerably.
We arrived to the staff's apology about a misunderstanding: breakfast for overnight guests ended at . 11:00, brunch started the same time. We had to wait 15 minutes while the buffet was served – without understanding the difference between breakfast and brunch.
For 349 SEK per person, small improvements would have made a big difference: A little more Easter-themed food with egg halves and prince sausages, and a better beverage service. And above all – a little more love in the food instead of shaky bacon, almost cooked in its own fat, and hash browns that were soft and saggy in the middle.
The brunch was unfinished, undersized and disappointing. We may blame ourselves for assuming that an Easter brunch would consist of Easter food, and not be like a mediocre breakfast buffet in a low-budget hotel.

Very nice and clean room. Wonderful place in general with the the beautiful houses and surrounding . Really nice breakfast as well.
