Very good value for money

1st tip! Talk to the hotel first to have them pick you up from the airport with a taxi of their choice, otherwise you would be at the mercy of the taxi jackals waiting in line at the airport who will ask you more than four times the cost for the journey to this hotel that does not exceed €15 the ride. Tip 2: Do not place your luggage in the boot of the taxi, if you can keep it with you in the seat. Now we move on to the hotel, which is located about 700 meters from the center (where the metro is also 0.80 € ticket), so easy to get there on foot in a few minutes. The staff is very helpful and friendly, there is an elevator and the rooms are clean, quiet and have everything you need to stay comfortable a few days, including a balcony for smokers. I found myself very comfortable in this hotel, a special mention to Theodore of the front desk, a real "problem solving" very effective and nice. Very good value for money.

Not too bad

It has a strategic position, not to far from the city center. Very smart at the reception. No breakfast, only 1 coffie is available since 7am. Quiet the atmosphere around, not noisy. Price is low. Room is nothing special, the necessary to sleep.

Trip to Sofia

Hotel accessible from the airport via metro line 4 (ticket cost $0.80, payable at the turnstile with credit/debit card) to Serdica station, then about a 15-minute walk. Close to a well-known supermarket, in a quiet area, it is about 1 km from the historic center, clean, good value for money, the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, smart TV, elevator, good Wi-Fi, small fridge, and kettle. Friendly receptionists who speak English. I did not give 5 stars for the reasons already mentioned by others, namely the bathroom without a window, the oddity of the shower not being a shower, and the lack of a safe (the absence of a bidet is also quite common outside of Italy). All things considered, however, if I were to return to Sofia, I would rebook here.

recommended

Hotel located 10 minutes from the metro station “Serdica” and 20 minutes from the famous “Vitosha boulevard”. The hotel has clean and basic rooms in comfort. Breakfast is not served, although one hot drink is offered per guest in the morning at reception.
Good value for money, approved!

Quiet hotel

We stayed a week at the turn of August. The hotel is small but very clean, towels change and daily cleaning. Kettle and fridge in the room, we had the balcony. Bathroom without bidet and shower cubicle like most hotels in Sofia. I read that before they offered 1 small breakfast, now only coffee, cappuccino and other hot drinks. Anyway, they're free. Staff always smiling and friendly. It is located 15 minutes walk from the center, in a quiet area. A great stay.
