Extremely disappointing experience — absolutely not recommended for families with children
Our stay at Hotel Algorfa was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had. We travelled as two families, a total group of eight people, including young children, and stayed for six nights. Unfortunately, almost every aspect of our stay caused stress rather than relaxation.
The photos and presentation of the hotel are extremely misleading. The pictures shown when booking give an impression of a clean, attractive, comfortable and well-maintained hotel. That image does not correspond to reality in any meaningful way. The actual condition and atmosphere of the hotel were completely different from what we expected based on the pictures. We felt genuinely misled by the way the hotel is presented online.
The noise was completely unacceptable. Almost every night there was loud entertainment, large groups of people, dancing and very loud music. On some nights there was an extremely loud concert. The noise continued until around midnight, making it very difficult — and at times almost impossible — for our children to sleep. This is simply not acceptable for a hotel that welcomes families with young children.
The heat in the rooms was unbearable. Temperatures were around 35°C during our stay, yet there was no refrigerator in the rooms, so we could not even keep cold water for our children. One of our rooms had air conditioning, but it did not work properly. The other room

It’s an amazing little hotel with a pool and a bar. If you are looking for an English speaking community here, this is a great place to stay. The staff is very helpful. It was a pleasant surprise for us - even though we had to get to Torrevieja every day during the day, we enjoyed the pool in the evening, the full English breakfast in the morning, and the chicken kebab and drinks at night while watching the World Cup!!

Nobody mentioned the parrots

I waited quite a while for someone to check me in, I waited quite a while to order anything but when the staff did come they were extremely nice and friendly. The overall stay was fine for what I needed but I can’t believe that in no review I read before staying did anyone mention the parrots. Beware of a 6am literal wake up call from parrots in the pool area, which rooms all wrap around. I would have appreciated a simple heads up from staff that there was a possibility of parrots screaming and whistling from 6am onwards.

Great food

Breakfast was amazing also evening meals were great value.
Entertainment on weekends I believe.
